Editorial Ethics


The editorial Board adheres to the following rules support ethics:

• strict adherence to the basic principles of the publication: scientific character, objectivity, professionalism, information support of the most important and innovative research;
• the unconditional loyalty of all actors in the creative process involved in creating the journal;
• wide application double-blind peer review, the involvement of competent, objective reviewers;
• the implementation of the standing Advisory work with the authors to implement the requirements of the international databases SCOPUS and Web of Science to the design and content of materials submitted for publication;

The editorial Board is guided by the following documents:

• Code of conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors – Committee on Publication Ethics.
• Publishing Ethics, Publishing Ethics Resource Kit – Elsevier.
• The Budapest Declaration of open access to peer-reviewed scientific publications and research – Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI)
• Berlin Declaration on open access to scientific and humanitarian knowledge Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities.
• Recommendations of the Project of promoting academic virtues in Ukraine

Editorial ethics – a set of rules that govern the relationship of members of the editorial Board and external reviewers and authors on publications.

All submitted articles are carefully selected and reviewed. The editorial Board reserves the right to reject an article or return it for revision. The author is obliged to finalize the article according to remarks of reviewers or editorial Board.

The editor takes the decision to publish submitted works. The editor is guided by the journal's policy and is based on academic values and insights of the reviewers. Editor clings to modern provisions on libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor has the right to make decisions in agreement with the reviewers or editorial Board members.

The editor should not use unpublished information in his own research without the written consent of the author. The editorial office should take appropriate reasonable measures when ethical complaints have been filed regarding the submitted manuscript or published document.

The editor evaluates the manuscript regardless of previous merit, race, ethnic origin, sex, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or political philosophy of the authors.

Privacy policy

The editors and the editorial board do not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript (author (s), topic, text, etc.) to anyone other than the author himself, (potential) reviewers and publisher, if necessary.

The question of authorship

When submitting materials for publication in the journal, the authors agree that in case of acceptance of materials for publication can be posted in electronic databases and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution — Noncommercial 4.0 international. In the text of the work itself should be fully presented to the external information in the form of lists of sources (including personal previously published work of the authors). The authors are required to properly arrange borrowings in the form of quotes or references. Any form of plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Disclosure and conflict of interest

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted paper should not be used in any study editor, reviewers, or any other informed person without the written consent of the authors. Privileged information or arguments obtained by expert examination shall be kept confidential and will not be used for personal or third party benefits. Editor and member of the editorial Board should be exempt from the duties of the consideration of manuscripts in case of any conflicts of interest in the result of the General, competitive, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies/institutions related to the manuscripts. The editor should require all contributors to disclose relevant competing interests. In case of identification of competing interests after the publication of the correction shall be published. Refusal or expression of concern may be published if necessary.

The editorial staff must:

• to adhere to good and proper relations to the author and his scientific orientation, to keep editorial secrecy, not to allow bad faith in the processing of materials;
• don't fix the author's text, to agree with the authors of the final version of the text after making editorial changes;
• to avoid the publication of materials unless they have scientific value, not corresponding to the profile of the journal, contrary to its editorial policies and there is good reason to believe that they contain plagiarism or have been previously published in other journals;
• to ensure an objective and competent reviewers, the practice of double-blind) reviewing.

Reviewers are required to:

• to adhere to the deadline by the editorial Board reviewed;
• to treat the reviewed manuscript as a confidential document, do not provide it to other persons; written reviews should also be sensitive;
• do not use unpublished data from the manuscript;
• to provide objective, reasoned and correct assessment of the research.

The authors are obliged:

• to provide novelty, authenticity and originality of the research findings and all materials of other authors to get precise guidance of these authors and primary sources;
• to avoid excessive borrowing and plagiarism in any form; to prevent the plagiarism, to ensure that the article is exclusive material and has not been previously published or offered to another publication;
• to participate in the review process.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors should ensure that submitted manuscript:

• describes completely original work;
• not plagiarism;
• not been published elsewhere in any language;
• Specifies an appropriate quote or quotation, if the authors have used the work and / or words of others.

You need to adhere to relevant copyright laws and conditions. Copyright material (e.g. tables, figures or extended quotations) should be reproduced only with appropriate permission and acknowledgement.

Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication

The author should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. The submission of the same manuscript to several journals at the same time constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Acknowledgement of sources

The authors will submit only entirely original works, and always should be the appropriate confirmation of other works. Authors should cite publications that have influenced the definition of the nature of the reported work.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest

All authors should disclose in the manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed as influencing the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Disclaimer

Neither the editors nor the editorial Board are not responsible for authors expressed opinions, views and content of the published manuscripts in the journal. The originality, proofreading of manuscripts and errors are the sole responsibility of the individual authors.

All manuscripts submitted for viewing and publication in the journal are subject to double blind examinations of authenticity, ethical issues, and useful contributions. The decision of the reviewers is the only tool for publication in the journal and will be final.
